FUNNY FACES

Funny Face Drawing is a combination of Rococo period portraiture and E-girl culture, which is thought to have been created under the influence of Japanese subculture. Inspired by Japanese manga and Hentai culture, the funny face poses of e-girls are a reaction to the repression of modern society, and I found similarities with Rococo portraits in their unabashed flirtatiousness.
